Now that everything has died down about this player on your boards I thought I would give my input. I understand why all you guys are going crazy over the signing of Lukas, the hype surrounding him is incredible.
Honestly? I would be over the moon if he was to join Spurs yet I don't understand a lot of the reasoning on this board how everyone says how good you guys will become if he comes AND RVP stays.
Now I know he has a relatively impressive record internationally and for Koln, yet I still see it as a big gamble from Wenger.
The one chance he was given to play for a big club and he really unimpressed in my eyes. From what I can remember he was lazy/off the pace and rarely got himself into any top goal scoring positions. He seemed a classic case of a player who performs well for a poor team, as he has no real defensive responsibilities yet gets found out on the main stage.
I am just wondering why everyone is so excited and over the moon about a player who could very likely not be suited to the English game and turn out to be a flop. Is it just an educated guess? Or all based on Fifa/Football Manager hype?

Hi Kamran.

Spurs have already blown two leads against weaker opposition this season, it's not beyond them to blow another one.'

We need to offer Koscielny a new contract and double his wages before the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid start looking at him.'
