Just ignore Van Persie. Simple!

Here is my advice on what to do until his contract expires in 12 months:

1) Ignore all his attempts to push for a transfer;
2) Do everything legally within our power to ensure he plays as long as he is fit and contracted to us;
3) Make an example of him like Manchester City did to Tevez;
4) Make him understand that better players have represented the club and that we were winnings things long before he was born;
5) After his final match, wish him luck and tell him to shut the door behind him. Also, if he wins any medals in the course of next season, ask him to send it back to the club immediately.

Enough of selfish players trying to screw us up. It is about time we return the favour. Keep him until he is 30 and less attractive to top class clubs so he can end up with nothing.

Did this guy and RVP have a nasty break up? The views expressed here and of the last article I read couldn't be any more different. Did someone hack his account? Is he on some strong stuff?

I have also thought about the 30 year old thing for a while though. Strikers over 30 years of age almost never set a league alight no matter how good they were before they hit that age. Very few clubs will be willing to get him next year when he is that old and be willing to pay him as much as he would ask for in wages.

Can’t understand Arsenal fans sometimes.

RvP has given eight years of his life to AFC. Do AFC fans really think that it is fair and reasonable to expect him to stay with the club to fight for CL qualification each season?

When he signs (and he will) for City he will be in a position to challenge for silverware and at the same time double or treble his salary.

Put yourself in RvP shoes (club loyalties aside) – what would you do? It’s a no brainer.

RVP is not leaving Arsenal. Seriously, stop perpetuating this silly silly rumour

How many seasons he played without getting injured? AW could have sold him well before, rather he sticked with him and supported him when Arsenal were paying him full wages without getting his services !

Yeh, because your refusing to understand what most are complaining about, most understand he wants to leave it's just the way he's going about it!

DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!

Was it RvP’s fault he was injured? Does he therefore owe the rest of his career to AFC because he had the misfortune of getting injured. Nuts.

At the end of the day the club has shown little ambition, and like many AFC players before him he will be off to pastures new to challenge for honours.

Sell him to Juve for one of there Serie A league winners medals.

Then laugh that Arsenal have more Serie A medals than him.

Ignore him so much he thinks he's dead. Would be like what they did to cartman on south park, and that worked!
