I think we should force him to be Gunnersaurus and dance around the pitch. Can we do that?

No Giroulski. The hardest thing for any professional footballer is being forced against their will. Ask Tevez.

Nice sentiments but this is the real world, and if your businessmen owners can get 20+ mil for him now rather than nothing next year then my guess is that they probably will.

TerraOX you've changed your tune, you were cussing us fans a few days ago about all the hate we were giving RVP because of his disrespectful statement, I wonder what has changed?

I think being unable to play football and being forced into a big dinosaur suit for a year would be far more humiliating for them.

I didn't change my tune. Fact is there is nothing wrong in wanting to leave from a neutral's stand point, but there is nothing wrong also in the club playing hardball.

Yeh, but most of the hatred wasn't coming from him wanting to leave, it was more on how he's going about it.

DISRESPECTFULLY!

Ignore him? Like just pretend he doesnt exist? If he tries to talk to you then just walk away?

I like it

I wish we could do that Terra. But we are a serious club and can't afford to lose money.

Would love him to rot on the bench and getting 30 years old. Would love to win us the title without him playing and he lose money when he gets a contract elsewhere.

chelseaa watch out..ur club can go down like pack of cards. Drogbaa gone, no any good striker in the squad and RDM think he can pull what Spain did..playing without striker..hence he is ONLY signing midfielders won't be surprise if he play 4-6-0 combination next year

posted on 20/7/12

yeah, don't try pull that spain $hit here.

Did this guy and RVP have a nasty break up? The views expressed here and of the last article I read couldn't be any more different. Did someone hack his account? Is he on some strong stuff?

I have also thought about the 30 year old thing for a while though. Strikers over 30 years of age almost never set a league alight no matter how good they were before they hit that age. Very few clubs will be willing to get him next year when he is that old and be willing to pay him as much as he would ask for in wages.

Can’t understand Arsenal fans sometimes.

RvP has given eight years of his life to AFC. Do AFC fans really think that it is fair and reasonable to expect him to stay with the club to fight for CL qualification each season?

When he signs (and he will) for City he will be in a position to challenge for silverware and at the same time double or treble his salary.

Put yourself in RvP shoes (club loyalties aside) – what would you do? It’s a no brainer.

RVP is not leaving Arsenal. Seriously, stop perpetuating this silly silly rumour

How many seasons he played without getting injured? AW could have sold him well before, rather he sticked with him and supported him when Arsenal were paying him full wages without getting his services !

Yeh, because your refusing to understand what most are complaining about, most understand he wants to leave it's just the way he's going about it!

DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!

Was it RvP’s fault he was injured? Does he therefore owe the rest of his career to AFC because he had the misfortune of getting injured. Nuts.

At the end of the day the club has shown little ambition, and like many AFC players before him he will be off to pastures new to challenge for honours.

Sell him to Juve for one of there Serie A league winners medals.

Then laugh that Arsenal have more Serie A medals than him.

Ignore him so much he thinks he's dead. Would be like what they did to cartman on south park, and that worked!
