Hello fellow football fans very intrested in your opinions on AVB and whether or not he can do better job then Harry, Harry get alot of credit for the job he done at Tottenham who were on a bad run of form when he took over. But looking at it from the outside you already had a good squad just needed confidence.
If you look at the team Harry inherited now look at the team AVB has inherited you will see that Harry has left an unbalanced team for instance you have no viable striking options other then Defoe who we all rate he just cant play up front on his own, most of your better squad players want to leave as they were frozen out by Harry.
My point for this article is that I believe AVB has a harder job to start with then what Harry did. All Harry had to was get you up the table, AVB will need to get top 4 for him to be a success which i feel is a little harsh especially as the competition for top 4 will be very tough.
I do actually admire AVB even as an Arsenal fan because didnt he fourfit millions of pounds to take your job.
What are you predictions for next season cheers
Can AVB top Harry

Whatever happens I'm worried that AVB could be held accountable for some of Levy's decisions. Sell Modric to Madrid - fine - but do it now so the manager can invest in the squad.
STOP PLAYING HARDBALL TILL THE POINT ALL OF OUR TARGETS GO ELSEWHERE
re the sacking - does anyone else think it's odd that no one has approached Harry..?

Now that one has really amazed me. 7-ish weeks too.
Anyone got a book running on how long that lasts.

He must have reems of post-it notes stuck to the car door just waiting.. he'd better get a new job soon or the glue will wear off

I think it'll be very, very hard for AVB to get fourth place, just as it would have been for Harry. The simple fact for me is that Chelsea and Arsenal simply cannot be as poor as they were last season, so there's already two teams added to the two Manchester clubs I expect to be above us. Also, despite our bad luck in the poor spell we had a lot of luck at other times - that cannot be counted on again.
RDM I expect to be a bit of a disaster for Chelsea, but that will be offset by their signings, and once he's sacked and Harry (probably I think) goes there they'll recover.
5th place and a cup will be a success for me this season (no different if Harry was still the boss, though I think we'd have less chance in the cups than we have under AVB).
Last season was the best chance we had at finishing 3rd or higher, or will have for many a year (until significant investment, ahem).
5th or 6th will in no means be a failure this season.

I have well documented my sceptisism for next season. Main reasons are:
1. Brad will be 41, he could lose his reflexes / agility at any point. Back up is Gomes and Cudicini
2. Modric situation has again dragged on too long. He will leave this summer rest assured. Every day that Levy drags it out is another day closer to ruining our start of season like it did lst year
3. AVB could be terrible
4. Ledley retired
5. AGAIN no striker signed. We have Kane and Defoe as our only out and out strikers at present. Not good enough.
6. I just dont see a leader out there
there is more but gotta run

Can AVB top Harry ? i doubt it,especially if he is as bad with us as he was at Chelsea.Getting rid of Harry when we were on a roll was madness.
