City have a strong case to go after the BBC

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19199215

"After spending almost £250m on players whose job it was to put the ball in the net, City stumbled over the line to beat their great rivals Manchester United not on points, but simply because they had scored more goals."

"The move for Robin van Persie shows not only can United still compete with City's vast wealth, but they can attract players away from City because of everything the club and the manager stands for.

"Van Persie wanted a club with tradition and heritage. United will always have the edge over City when it comes to that and this is the kind of signing that could send a message out and a player who will excite the fans."

Van Persie is a romantic and sees United as a club of history and tradition, similar to Arsenal and his original team, Feyenoord.
The Dutchman has told friends he is flattered that Ferguson has coveted him for so long and likes the thought of working for the 70-year-old.

Even Tribal Football or a Murdoch Paper could come out with more objectivity but I kid you not that is our very own BBC (taxpayer funded)

Football fans in hypocrisy shocker.

And he's meant to be middle aged, you'd think he would know this.

Yes, but when we do it, we're bitter ABUs according to you lot. I'm merely pointing out the hypocrisy.
.............................................

Ahh I see, so it is only United fans that criticise other for results of teams other than their own against them. That is did up until your post one or two up. I must agree, how incredibly hypocritical of United fans to do such a thing when no other fans do.... we should all be ashamed....

Wow, that was easy! A little too easy. Perhaps you're all still sore from last night's little upset.

Still, if we're going to be bitter ABUs for enjoying you lose when it's nothing to do with us, maybe we should dispense with the hypocrisy. I'm perfectly happy to call you all bitter ABCs in the name of fairness and equality.

It doesn't alter the fact I think we'll get beaten at Goodison as well, but I'll be a lot happier to take your gloating knowing I got mine in first.

Ha ha, and all that.

I think your sarcasm detector maybe broke, as my post went completely over your head.

Not sure if there is an official definition but to me someone is only an ABU if United losing [or not winning a title or cup] is more important to them than their own teams success of failure.

All fans enjoy the failure of their rivals and teams they don't like though, it is part of the fun of football. This is where the sarcasm came into my post, all fans revel in their rivals losses and all fans criticise those revellers for using results they were not even involved in. This is why your post ranting on about hypocrisy was a very hypocritical post.

Don't generally gloat unless it is in response to a jibe or insult... though that is probably more banter/argument/debate than gloating.

Think you should make more of it than that, you won't be quite so happy come the end of the season.

I want Boris to tell is how ashamed he was when City got beaten by Everton who cost 1/200th of City's squad and by a goal from Gibson too.

About as ashamed as you were when we took the trip out of Manchester to Trafford and stuck 6 past you and basically played you off your own park.

I have no problem with what some ex rag says its par for the course, they will wheel out Robson or David May next.

City stumbled over the line or man u crumbled under pressure with city looking the best team over the whole season.

This year we will have many more articles from ex rags in the paper every day coming out with the same cliched regurgitated sheyite, good I say please Mancini pin them up on the dressing room wall and let them do your team talks for you.

You thought wrong. I just chose to ignore it and jab the "ha ha you lost" button one more time. Which I wouldn't have done if it weren't for all the articles on the "best strike force since 1999".

Actually, that's a lie. I'd have done it anyway. I like seeing arrogance rewarded by failure, it means that there is a natural order of justice in the world.

That's funny, because I love it when people get on their high horses when they can't think of a better comeback.

I'm not normally given to doing this WUM thing, but I decided to make an exception because I was just SO bored.

So you are immature rather than stupid, as long as I know what type of person I am talking to...

So an article in a paper wound you up to the point where you wummed, has all the bitterness you built up over the years really pushed you to the point where you genuinely get wound up by articles in the paper?

If there is a natural order of justice in the world then I look forward to your failure.
