Vito or Wojciech?

Bearing in mind Vito has kept 2 solid clean sheets, would you keep him in goal even though Szczesny looks to be back at the weekend, or would you restore Wojciech to start between the sticks?

Szczesny as Vito has not had that much to do.

I think I would give Jenkinson a chance to stay in the team though until we concede at the very least.

I wouldn't say Mannone's flapped at all. He's just not been troubled much.

Mannone has flapped quite a few times. If you look at the shots he has had to save and the balls he has had to catch, probably every PL goalie would have 2 clean sheets. The back four and midfielders have got the clean sheets not Mannone.

Think that's a bit harsh on him. He's done the job, not made any mistakes. We all know he's not a top keeper, but he's been good enough while Woj has been injured.

Vito is second/third choice keeper. He has done what has been asked of him as a second choice keeper. Why that justifies him being 1st choice is a bit beyond me. If you do your job well for a few weeks, you don't instantly get a promotion at the expense of a previously better employee.

Szczesny in goal, Fabianski on the bench and Vito back to Hull where he belongs.

It is lucky that we faced two of the most hopeless teams attacking wise in the league over the games Szczesny missed.

That save from Shelvey at the end was a lot more impressive than it originally looked. Not the one where Vermaelen had to clear, the next one from range. If you look at it from Mannone's right, you'll see it required a lot of athleticism. A truly great save that has gone unnoticed imo.

But yeah, Woj for me.

We have not conceded any goals in first three games, but truthfully the goalkeeper has been hardly tested.

Mannone has done okay, but I have reservations about his mobility and positional sense to crosses. He is in reality our third choice

I would expect Szczesny to replace him unless there are doubts about his fitness.
