Can't believe that I am actually having to write this but we must beat Everton. They are 6 points ahaed of us and 9 does not bare thinking about.
Pienaar is out banned which is good as he and Baines have an excellent understanding.
I actually think we will win but for no other reason than we normally do. I think man for man we are better in midfield but they are a team greater than their parts with no little talent these days either.
This is a turning point for us and the next three games are massive in the league.
Should be a cracker.
We must beat Everton

Little question for joely
Had Moyes been in the CL with Everton for half his tenure, do you think that he would have spent more?
The reason I ask is because bigger clubs will always spend more because they attract better players.
It really is straight forward.
By the way, given that Moyes is heralded as a genius in the transfer market, it begs the question... What criteria is he meeting to ensure that his signings are seen as a success... Can't be trophies

Spending more money is not a sign of signing better players...
Or livepoolwould have finished higher in the league and wouldn't be six points behind everton now.

Oh i agree... We wasted ours
But i don't think you'll see the likes of Everton signing Suarez/Torres type players - do you?

Why do you class these players as ones we wouldn't sign?
Torres had a purple patch at Liverpool...over ratedand it shows
