Admins - you to put on the Everton board? We've all been rather civil to each other lately.

you are right mate..

this is the biggest derby game in yonks (bar the fa cup semi)

I'd put it above that in some ways purely because the league is so tight. My God I want to come above Everton this year.

Everton is usually Gerrard's cup final. If he's on it and and Suarez turn up with his scoring on then I can see us winning.

We dominate Everton so much that even Andy Carroll scores against them

Fellaini could be a huge loss for them as well if he doesn't get back.

God help us if they beat us without those two playing

I can see Jelavic giving Skrtel no end of problems with his movement so maybe this is not the game for Wisdom. However, Johnson is doing well on the left and Mirallas is a good player. Enique could be back but do we trust him?

May not be the game for Wisdom because of Baines **

On another note apparently Everton were dire yesterday but I was only listening on the radio.

Pienaar being banned is a blow, but we have a number of options for his position, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue for us.

Fellaini will be back & his presence will be a huge lift for us, we badly missed him yesterday.

I think it's actually a bigger game for you, than it is for us this time round, given our respective starts. A win for you & we're still ahead of you & probably still in the top 6. A win for us & you're 9 points adrift & maybe in the bottom 6.

I just hope we manage to complete a derby without the referee deciding the result.

I agree that it's a bigger game for us.

You KNOW the ref will have an influence. Worried about some of the younger lads being up to a derby but they have aquitted themselves well.

First goal is all important but I'd take a draw.

An influence yes, but hopefully not being the deciding factor this year.

Your weakness appears to be your defence, I would imagine that Moyes will get us pressing you high up the pitch, giving you no time on the ball at the back & forcing the longer ball.

You having a tough game on Thursday might also prove to be a factor

Would happily take a draw at this moment in time

^ In the wake of recent results against them, then I can see your point. I just hope that Moyes doesn't set us up with that mindset. We've gone into too many derbies on the back foot under Moyes & this season we're playing a much more attacking style, I'd be really annoyed if he reverted to type on Sunday, as I don't think this Liverpool side is a particularly good one.

Was going to write a article about this myself, but ended up working

This is the closest it's been for years in terms of ability, Everton really are a strong outfit at the moment, they seem to give a few chances each game but we need about 250 chances a game to net 1

Woefully short of attacking options at the moment and would be interested to see if Suarez is rested for the Machahakakalaala game

I don't think Suarez or Gerrard will play to be honest. I think the trip to Goodison will be incredibly tough. I'd take a point right now.

Trouble is who else?
Would like to see Yesil get a game. Shlevey Suso Downing Sahin and Allen can be the midfield. Would like to See Coates play at the back instead of Carra too.

Yesil knows how to put it in the back of the net , done so for Germany's youngsters on several occasions. BR seems to like Morgan aswell. Would love to see us try and go for the cup but not at the detriment of our league season

Given the quality of the side that you're facing on Thursday, do you think he'll persist with a 2nd string? A defeat & you could struggle to qualify from your group & surely he won;t want that on his CV in his first season will he?

I think Derby's of this type are basically unpredictable.

Red cards are common, penalty decisions etc etc. It will be hard fought, it probably won't be pretty and at the end of the game you can almost guarantee one or both teams will be moaning about the ref.

Avoiding defeat won't be a bad result for either team, if there is a winner it will be a massive result for whichever.

^ I'm sure it's not his priority, but I suppose I meant that there's degrees of failure. An exit at the group stage, might be unpalletable despite their prime objectives being elsewhere.

I'm just hoping he plays your first team, you pick up a couple of injuries & you're knackered come Sunday lunchtime, haha.

As long as we don't get the ref we have on Sunday we'll have a chance of a half decent game. He was attention seekingly card happy.

If Felli plays your defence will have a tough time, any news on Gibson? What price Hitz plays a part?
