Grayson supporter

I am a fan of simon grayson, im a fan of leeds, dont like bates ( new kit looks like one of chelseas kits ).

Just read an article by dom matteo from yep and hes hit the nail squarly on the head. We have missed out on targets because of money in a nut shell. There is no reason to leave your fist choice signings this late. Pay peanuts you get monkeys.

Grayson is living in dream land, he goes on about the right players who aren't greedy. He operates on a moral code that most footballers, especially good ones do not. Its all about the money to most of them. If a team like bristol or hull can get better players than us ( no disrespect ) something is very wrong.

Its time to wake up, this can't be done on the cheap, quality costs, simple as. We need class and we get players 'that will do', that is not good enough for such superb fans who pay an arm and a leg only to see the money get wasted on 24 new boxes 99% of fans will never use.

I back grayson, but without drastic changes and an influx of quality players, grayson will be out by decdmber.

Protests may be in order by aug 31st.

Hope im wrong. MOT

I expect mid-table this year, but the second season up is always deemed harder than the first. Yet hardly anyone else has done anything in the transfer market other than Leicester, so you never know.

You're not following the market Elmondy, Ipswich, Hull, Watford, Palace, Brighton, Blackpool, Forest, Boro etc have all strengthened.

Would be good to see youth given a chance, will Grayson have the balls to do it.

Elmondy there's been planety of activity at the clubs listed, you can add Peterborough to that list too.

I don't like the loan route unless it's long term or for an emergency and even then would liek to see existing players given a chance.

If our squad can stay injury free, if we don't sell any more, if Gradel can recreate anything like last season's goal return, if defence bucks their ideas up, and if we get a couple of decent signings we might make mid table...

But that's an awful lot of ifs and we've seen already how our small squad can be completely changed by injuries.

And a single player here or there does not necessarily improve you enough to make you a force, unless they are a real powerhouse that brings the team fully together.

Are either of Brown or Rachubka a 'real powerhouse that brings the team together fully'?

There have some interesting prem loans in the division and I certainly feel the quality of some of the transfers outside of Leicester are still of a calibre that could have improved Leeds.

I don't think looking for Prem players is necessarily the right approach, as we're always looking for the Amdy Faye's, not the 'Strachans'....unless we could get a good loanee as Posrtmouth did last season with De Laet and Halford (who has now signed permanently).

I'd be looking for players who have experience of this division and getting promoted from it.
