George Boyd .. an apology

Just wanted to apologise to George Boyd on behalf of the Forest fans for the shocking way that he was treated yesterday.

Whether we fans wanted him here or not - that is no way to treat another human being. Poor eyesight my a**e. He scored from the half way line not so long ago!!

And I am going down the bookies later. I rarely bet, normally only on the Grand National, but I am having a tenner on SOD and Bristol City finishing higher than us at the end of the season.

We are in more of a shambles than when Steve Mc was here.

anyone heard of the old FM trick of agreeing a deal that you can't afford or have no intention of completing, purely to stop the player from joining another club, only to agree a free transfer 3 months later after their contract has expired?

Our best January ever? With one win and a squad full of holes? Resigning Dex is good, yes. Raddi, too - although we have 4000 centre mids, so not that fussed. Jara's good, but he's another loan signing that we'll lose in the summer. Along with half the squad. Ward is average at best. We've got a useless manager. And Boyd is hardly Stevie Wonder is he. Blind men don't tend to score from 50 yards. I'm sorry for being concerned that people may be ruining the club I've followed for 28 years.

Birds can fly.
A penguin is a bird.
A penguin must be able to fly, then.

The medical may have turned up a potentially serious problem, which may affect his ability to play

What it probably turned up was your club's inability to pay.

That plus denying a 'promotion rival' ( ) the opportunity to sign the player, whilst then having the audacity to put in a loan bid. I bet Fawaz actually had a straight face when he did that too. The best conmen always do.

"promotion rival"

We won't get promoted and neither will Palace

Ps. I am genuinely gutted for Boyd though. I hope it / he gets whatever it is sorted so he can move on.
I don't think it will be with us, but good luck to him !!

a hair is what he needs

Its worth remembering here that 5 mins after he supposedly failed the eye test we asked to have him on loan?? Its the complete reliance on loan players and an owner jumping through hoops to avoid making permanent signings that seriously worries me!! Fawaz needs to make a statement to reassure the fans, otherwise his credibility will be shot to pieces especially now when he's lord and master of NFFC as acting CEO, Head of Scouting and Chairman!!

Missed opportunity…

If his eyesight is that bad, then we could have slipped the delimiter one place to the left…

‘Here you go Mr Boyd, you new contract £2,0000 per week’
