Attitude of the squad

Was just thinking about benny and how it's common knowledge that he doesn't even care about football, and we kind of admire his honesty. But while we may tolerate that when things are going well, in a late season slump if it happens, it doesn't look very good. We need players who will fight and stretch every sinew to reach our goal.
Which got me thinking, who in the squad will do that?
I came up with these:
Parker
Lennon
Bale
Daws
Holtby (maybe its just new starter syndrome though)

Anyone else? It strikes me this may be part of our problem, not enough players who really give a shat when the chips are down??

"Enjoy the players while they are at WHL, but the days have long gone when players like Stevie Perryman spend their entire careers at Spurs."

And fortunately his final years at the club coincided with a time when the team was as similarly successful to that of the time when he joined as an apprentice.

I believe King would never of left us, he said in an interview he could never imagine wearing another clubs shirt, he's the kind of guy to mean that as well.

Sorry Sandy but ledley did spend his career at Tottenham and could easierly now be off living the good time, but hes still at the club and working inthe local community

i agree its a lot rarerthan the past as you used to get a lot more local players at the club

I admire Ledley, and fair play he spent his entire career at Spurs, but he had a lot of injuries, which obviously put of would be buyers.

Obviously a lot of ex players are avid supporters of Spurs, ie Martin Peters, Les Ferdinand, Graham Roberts, etc. but they all played for other clubs during their careers. Nice to seem them though on a regular basis back at WHL supporting the club now though.

Would Ledley have moved on if fully fit? Depends on the time really.

Prime time would have been the early to mid-2000s when we were awful and his star was in the ascendancy.

Post 2005 we have been pretty good on the whole, and perhaps even better had he been fit for most of it. He would however have been a much better player.

On balance I'd say if a top 4 club had bid for him around 2004 he would have gone

totally disagree, ledley loved playing for us and he never once even mentioned leaving

I dont believe that for one second there was an instance in the Fulham game when he was on the deck and near broke his back trying to retain possession (and he did retain possession). A tongue in cheek comment has been taken the wrong way, trust me Benny cares if only cos it pays his wages. Watch his celebration when he hit that screamer against Everton and then tell me he dont care.
