Wigan will be hard but come on...

Many people on Facebook and on here have been suggesting that a possible Wigan win is far more likely now after they won the FA Cup. While I agree we shouldnt take Wigan lightly, I do not think they are any harder now than I thought they would be a week ago.

Suddenly im getting people saying they will take points from us when last week they were saying they wouldn't. This is from people I know. I know that they played well in the FA Cup but I still consider them defensively weak (e.g. swansea game).

Wigan will be hard but the FA Cup win has not suggested to me that they will be harder because I always considered them to be difficult. We will be more fresh than them and after their result we won't underestimate them. Therefore I have every confidence we can win this match.

Gervinho, i never said we would come 4th did i? I said IF you drop points tonight, we will come 4th. I personally think you will win but IF you drop points, don't get all excited thinking we will bottle it because it won't happen. We are a different outfit under AVB. We will beat Sunderland no problem.

How can you beat sunderland no problem, if wigan win then sunderland can still go down. They wouldn't gift you 3 points. Why am I even talking about this, top 4 is pretty much ours.

Because sunderland are s hite and have no Rose, Fletcher, Sessengon or Gardner for our game. We will be far to strong for them at home and if you drop points tonight, our players will do the job needed to get 4th. Like i say, i believe you will beat Wigan. But thinking Sunderland will do you a favour if you do drop points to Wigan is clutching at straws.

Arsenal get forth. Play a tight qualifying game and make the group stages. After six unremarkable group games Arsenal are drawn against some tougher opposition and are soundly beaten over two legs.

Is that really worth all the fuss of qualification each year?

Hello My Name Is Gervinho

What's the CL money being used for then? Other than earning interest.

To be fair Sunderland will be a breeze through the park for Spurs.
