Good win for Chelsea as Benfica are a good side. But unfortunately the CL has totally devalued the Europa League/UEFA Cup as demonstrated by the fact that both finalists were knocked out at the CL Group stage.

It's a shame as it used to be a great tournament in the 70's and 80's. But the beefed up CL was always going to have an adverse affect on the other European competitions.

I think this tournament will be chopped completely in a few years time and all we will have is one big CL.

I would say mental strength is about 1/10 and Cech 2/10's, the rest is some kind of magic that is beyond my understanding.

Cech is comfortably the best in the league
