Tis the wrong word for the performance at the business end of the PL (March-April) .

In 2011 twas a slow painful decline in form.
In 2012 a shameful collapse over the final third.
And this season just having a slump in form over 4-5 consecutive games.

If the squad cannot understand there is a period of the season where your must keep your focus and not drop points, then harbour no ambitions above 5th.

Gotta say how impressed I have been with AVB. I honestly expected him to royally feck up your season, seems to have learnt a lot from his Chelsea tenure.
Hope you keep Bale also and if Levy could spend a bit in the summer then you should be right up there. I expect us to push on with Mourinho, Man City have a new manager, Arsenal probnably wont invest again and board room scuffles, and Manu wont be anywhwere near as strong, so there will be more opportunity next season.

Or the management have made mistakes in loaning players at the wrong time. Or not introduced Academy players into the mix sufficiently to allow them to front up when seniors inevitably get injured somewhere in the season.

So much so you could sell Sturridge and be without Lukaku, and still have twice the GD of Spurs.

our midfielders chipped in with few goals but obviously their is a difference in quality of players both clubs have.
