@JamesMawFFT: Still don't understand how Spurs finished above Man Utd in the U21 initial group stage and 'Elite Group', then had to go away for the final.
Basically finishing 1st gave us no advantage at all

It's turned into American style league, yeah you finish top but you have a play off against a team 8 points below you with a lesser goal difference

Think the play off's were pretty much the idea from the start....
Don't think they waited for Spurs to finish 8 points clear and then decided to make the champion win a play off...
I can see the logic in having them and in not having them.
