He's still not done anything at one of the other top leagues in Europe. When he's not playing the rubbish in La Liga he struggles.

The EPL is widely considered the toughest league in terms of strenth and depth. The real point is that he scores ridiculous amounts of goals for Barca yet struggles against other teams and doesn't really do it for Argentina. Ronaldo on the other hand, single handedly gets Portugal to gthe latter stages of International competitions.

Nacho, I think Barca will struggle now that everyone has worked out how to play them; i.e. let them have as much possession as they want and they can pass, pass and pass some more but keep your concentration and don't let them bore you into making a mistake.
If Barca are less successful, it will be interesting to see how Messi does. Maradonna cerianly carried hsi teams to success. No way you can say that about Messi. Let's be honest, Messi was a flop at the last world cup.
