Transfer SWOOPS !!!

Am I the only one (probably Yes) who thinks we need some new words for transfers, some go on and on for weeks or even years so it's hardly a "swoop". A "swoop" is a sudden sharp movement - Spurs "swoop for Damiao" for example.. Doesn't quite work for me.
Any suggestions ?
"Pounce" maybe ?
"Snatch" sounds good <wink>

Levyed :

Buying a player for far more, or selling a player for far less, than your club actually wanted to do.

Baldiniying :

Under the radar purchase of a player that nobody was aware of and/or knew your club were pursuing.

"Pinched, Groomed. Snatched, Whisked"

That reads like the road to Weare and JPB.

Capoue was a swoop. We then left him in the nest for a week, before finishing the job.

Soldado was definitely landed. Like a fight with a big fish, which took a great effort to reel in.
