We lost 1-0, it was frustrating but we could have lost this game last year as well. There are only ever fine margins in games like this last year we won our first game there in 6 YEARS!
It can happen. It isn't the Moyes' fault, it shows that a United without Rooney is not as good as one with Rooney. We need to thank Moyes for keeping him. 4 games played, the Community Shield in the bag. In the league; won 1 lost 1 drawn 1. Please let's get some perspective (still hoping to god we sign a midfielder or 2 tomorrow though as we have no real option there off the bench).
But this result alone is not a disaster, why has Moyes got some many critics already?
What are your thoughts on;
Kaka?
De Rossi?
Baines?
Fellaini?
Kaka (on loan), in my opinion may be worth a shout. Fellaini would give us physicality and an aerial threat. De Rossi would simply add pure quality and Baines would give us a dead ball specialist... this is what we have needed since Ronaldo.
Anyone else?
Or would you feel better if Moyes went for revolution?
Jones/Smalling/Evans the centre backs.. Rio to retire Vidic maybe to move on?
Valencia as back up (if, as some say he is not creative enough) right back
Jones and Smalling never to play at right back ever, ever again?
Fabio to be given a chance on the left
Lingard to play?
Giggs largely not to?
Adnan Januzaj to start games?
What formation?
Would the revolution thing make you feel better, or not? I can't get my head around what will appease the fans who are going off on one after this result please help me understand.
TTFN.
So, what would you like then?

What did Rooney do against chelsea except ignore Rvp in good goalscoring positions to go for 30 yard, sky sports shots

Yeah, maybe he should have gone for the BT sports style shot..

A good post MUFC.
A difficult start to the season for United. Dropping points to Chelsea (home) and Liverpool (away) isn't exactly a disaster. Losing away to Cardiff is more akin to that!
Liverpool are on a high, have had a great start to the season, but they won't mount a successful title challenge (far too early for them to do that). Chelsea are a different proposition altogether - they will be right up there, and the result at OT against them means that you neither lost or gained ground on each other. City look a little suspect to me - we're not yet ready to fully implement Pellegrini's ideas (if indeed Pellegrini's "style" will be suited to the PL (only time will tell in that respect)). So all in all, despite only having 4 points from your first three games, it's important to keep that in context. No disgrace in any of your results so far.

1- I would like Moyes to give Anderson a chance ahead of Cleverly. Cleverly was awful today, constantly passing the ball directly to the opposition. But even when his passing is accurate he plays to safe an cannot carry the ball up the pitch the way Ando can.
Don't get me wrong I still want a CM signing, but if it doesn't come Moyes has to give Ando a chance.
2- I would like Fabio to play at RB when Rafael is injred instead of Jones/Smalling/Valencia. Fabio started a lot the pre season games at RB but for some reason Moyes is going for Jones. Maybe it is because Moyes feels the games are too big to play him, had we been playing mid table teams Fabio would get the nod. Hopefully the International break will give Rafael time to get over the hamstring injury.

Thanks Ripleyscat. Very true, it is very early with everyone jostling for position.
Faranjiniho.
I agree with Fabio as back up right back, let's be honest we couldn't get any nearer to Rafael in any sense! We really miss an attacking full back, Jones just isn't that player.
I agree with Ando too. I am a massive TC fan, but yeah, he did play bad today and at any club if that occurs you have to give others a chance. (I do feel in Ando's case it may be a last one but...) I think, if he stays fit, he might just show what he can do and I think that is an awful lot.

1. Giggs to no longer start any Premier League game.
2. To buy two midfielders for the 10 billionth facking time.
3. Play Nani and Kagawa at all times.
Do that and we'll play better football.

Rooney could have done back all today.

Kagawa 26 - that is fair enough, Kagawa on the wing or through the middle?

Hmm...
Finishing is questionable, rooney just gets more chances. Long range passing? You have not watched kone before, he is brilliant at it. Tackling? Really? Experience... I know you like to believe it is a skill, it really isn't.
