Borini

After his game versus United I got thinking.

Borini will be a very handy player next season. He's doing very well with confidence and free of injuries. But I don't see him starting unless Studge gets injured and I feel that he needs games.

What do we think? Is he better off going elsewhere or should we keep him?

Anyway for me borini should only play as a striker

Owen was lightning quick though, so it didn't matter that was a weakling as defenders couldn't get near him.

Borini is not quick (not slow, just no faster than most defenders).

Ideally though, at this moment in time, I feel we could really do with a player similar to Drogba, someone who can bully opposition defences. But who?

West ham have some young pony tailed fella. maybe we can pick him up if they get relegated?

I really like Borini, been impressed with his attitude and he does show moments of class. Though still only young I’m concerned he’ll not make the level required for a longer term career at LFC. Nor am I clear on where BR sees him fitting in.

I can see him moving out on loan again this time next year if he doesn't get the game time. But Sturridge gets injured quite a lot so he wouldn't be a bad backup

What are you lot on about! Borini's gash. Just because he scored a penalty against a mid table team doesn't change anything.
If BR rated him he wouldn't have sent him on loan to a pub team.

idiotic comment shortsighted,

United sent welbeck there to develop and it did him the world of good, I don't particularly like him but he is doing a decent job for United at the moment and is a solid squad player used to the premier league now..

Equally idiotic comment Inert,

Borini isn't a kid. He has already played for five different clubs and has experience in different countries and leagues. If he was any good he wouldn't need to go on loan - he'd be pushing Suaridge for a starting place. It speaks volumes that, even with Sturridge injured, BR didn't bother recalling him.

I doubt recalling him was even possible.

Righteous.
