The explanation is simple, the plane flew into the twilight zone

Is this not the plot of Lost?

They're all on an island somewhere

I have been on the best part off 50 flight and have never been remotely nervous.

Crashing is hugely unlikely and if you are involved in one, then you are stupidly unlucky.

Would you not drink yaga bomb's because off that girl having 3 heart attack's?

Planes are theoretically safer, but in case of an accident the survival rate is tiny. Also no one can predict what may cause certain future accidents (unlike in cars/train)..

Humans naturally are scared of things they have little hope of survival in case of an accident (even if it's generally safe). Fear of the unknown (not knowing what may cause the next accident) also plays a part..

honest, that's fair, the survival rate is significantly lower thsn cars, however i tend to watch a lot off air crash docs (every one has there weird programme and that ones mine) and there's just as many i see where a good number off the passengers get out alive, for example the hudson river crash.

I get why people won't like it tho and one dodgy flight will probably change my perception completely.

Mine is Bear Grylls, which is not remotely a weird programme

quite obviously some country's military has shot it down and a cover-up operation is currently in full progress

They have details of the last radio transmission, it said "now passing you on to Hanoi control" the reply was "ok". This exchange was said to take place shortly before the plane disappeared.

So; if they are passing the plane on from onc control centre to another, surely they know where it is at that time. Also, if the plane disappears, surely they know where it is when it disappears.

So why all the confusion regarding where they should be searching?
