So David Moyes reckons even Fergie would have struggled this season. This guy makes me so angry, he is literally doing whatever he can do keep himself in the job.
We need to hound this guy out of the club before he destroys the club beyond repair. I don't think flying a banner over the game will work, we need fans to stop attending games and then maybe the Glazers will wake up, because ultimately, the decision lies with them.
Moyes on Fergie

So, Robb, mindless optimism it is indeed.
His record against the top teams was shocking. So stop trying to spin that it was succesful in any way shape or form.
I guess all the records he has broke since he has been here are beyond your kind of reasoning.
The fact that Everton have moved on now they have a manager who knows how to play football just isn't happening in your mind.
Moyes is a negative coach, he always has been and he always will be, he doesn't have the technical and tactical know how to be any different.
Lastly, and obvious to anyone who can see how he sets the team out, his negativity has reduced our attacking threat.

The season after SaF left always had the potential to be a disaster. I remember the last time he 'left' and the disastrous effect it had on us until he reversed his decision.
As for his records against the top teams. Last season, with close to a team that he left for martinez.
Drew both games home and away against Liverpool.
Beat United at home.
Drew at Arsenal (can't remember the home game)
Beat City at home and drew away from home.
Shows he was getting a grip on beating the bigger teams after showing signs in the previous two seasons (putting 4 last United, getting to the fa cup semis)
Even this season he was a width of a crossbar away from winning at Arsenal.
He may well be a bit more cautious than SaF but who's to say that will always be the case? He showed in two games against Leverkusen that he has the ability to destroy teams. Imagine that with better players, rather than Carrick, Giggs and Cleverley in cm? Or evra, Rio and Vidic in defence?
Again, I'm not trying to change yours or anyone's mind. But I'm just saying why I believe. I'd hope that even if you didn't agree with me you'd at least respect me sticking to my guns.

Long-standing myth.
We were sitting top before he changed his mind.

Interesting that Martinez took his place at Everton and IMMEDIATELY implemented HIS plans and ideas and has them playing their best football ever. With a better manager, it would not take 3 years for us to be competitive. A better manager would have bought better players, shored up our midfield and defense and had us playing attacking, free-flowing football by now. There is NO reason to give him more time.

So when he reversed his decision we finished off in a worse position?
And 3rd in 2004 and 2005. A combination of a lack of investment in defence and Chelsea winning the lottery nothing to do with manager upheaval.

Stop wumming.
We all expected to dip slightly. We didn't expect t to dip drastically.
Everton haven't dipped with their new manager. Might this just be because he knows what he is doing.
You make up excuse after excuse for this man, something he just hasn't earnt.

And yet we still managed to play attractive football in the years we didn't win much.
We were top goalscorers in the league in 2002 and 2006.
2nd top goalscorers in 2003.
3rd top goalscorers in 2004 and 2005.
This season? 5th
Last season? 1st.
