Bradford disaster Anniversary

On this day 29 years ago, 56 people died in this seemingly forgotten tragedy.
Long may they be remembered. Everyone should come home from a football match.

Lets also not forget the loss of a young Leeds fan at Birningham on the very same day.

RIP
My sister & her family were there for what should have been a happy occasion.
So Lucky none of them were casualties .

Just over a month after my wedding day, how time flys!..

RIP for those from the Bradford family, and not to forget the 2 from the Lincoln family!.

And like Mids say's, one for the Leeds lad!.

It's a travesty that the Bradford disaster has been overshadowed by the Hillsborough tragedy. Next year on the 30th anniversary we must raise its profile in the media.

do not think that in making this comment, I am not in total agreement with all that has gone before but every tragedy leaves a legacy, Valley Parade, Ibrox, Heysel, Hillsborough and even the stabbing of our two boys in Istanbul make football safer for us all. Such a tragedy that it takes deaths to makes those in charge listen.
