... Angel Di Maria - Angel di Maria has told that talk of a transfer to Tottenham "hurt".
The Real Madrid forward was linked with a switch to White Hart Lane last summer amid the £86m deal for Gareth Bale in the other direction.
However, despite much talk as the two clubs experienced a summer of transition, the Argentina international remained at the Bernabeu and flourished during a campaign that ended with victory in the Champions League final.
Di Maria has now opened up about the situation last summer and the talk of a move to Spurs.
“It hurts when you’re always doing your best for your club and then you hear that you might be going to Tottenham," he told Marca.
“I spoke with the manager last summer. I wanted to stay and he wanted me to stay as well. He told me that he counted on me and it was up to me from then on.
“I have grown a lot under Ancelotti," he continued. "He got the best out of me. Things have gone well and I made the right decision to stay."
I thought he was Shiiite in the CL Final !!!

I am entitled to an opinion I thought his crossing of the ball was awful and it was Marcelo when he came on for Coentrao who was their best player & Ramos who sparked Real Madrid !!

He was the only decent player for Madrid in the 90 minutes, and the only attacking threat Atletico were unable to counter.
As said before...he was completely misquoted

Even if he did say it, its hardly offensive. To play for the European Champions one season and then hear rumours you are going to a club who finished 6th in another league - its understandable to say something like that.
We can love Spurs and have a sense of humour at the same time.

Numbers
He was Shiite in the final. His crossing was awful, and he constantly lost the ball. Sheriff as usual is creaming himself over the only decent thing he did all match, beat a couple of tired players in extra time and he still had to rely on Bale to claim an assist.

If he was so good how did they have to rely on a Ramos header from a corner in the 94th minute he was craaap !!!
