Typical Marca quote!
No way would he have been that disrespectful!
Substitute any club name in there - they (we) are all lower than Madrid in pecking orders. Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd, anyone...just linked to us
He's upset he's been doing his best, then linked with a move away to another team..cant blame him.
Welcome to Tottenham Angel
"I thought he was Shiiite in the CL Final !!!"
You thought the man-of-the-match in the CL final was shiite? Are you sure following this sport is meant for you?
He didn't actually say it though...
The British media: "It hurts to be linked to Tottenham"
Di Maria (when asked 'Did you see yourself leaving Real Madrid at any moment?':
"They (media) say a lot of things and sometimes think too much about them and it hurts when you are giving your all for the club.
Things come out like ‘he’s going to Tottenham’, or ‘he’s staying’. These are difficult times for a player.
It’s difficult to detach yourself (from the speculation). I was calm as I knew I wanted to continue with Madrid.”

I am entitled to an opinion I thought his crossing of the ball was awful and it was Marcelo when he came on for Coentrao who was their best player & Ramos who sparked Real Madrid !!

He was the only decent player for Madrid in the 90 minutes, and the only attacking threat Atletico were unable to counter.
As said before...he was completely misquoted

Even if he did say it, its hardly offensive. To play for the European Champions one season and then hear rumours you are going to a club who finished 6th in another league - its understandable to say something like that.
We can love Spurs and have a sense of humour at the same time.
Numbers
He was Shiite in the final. His crossing was awful, and he constantly lost the ball. Sheriff as usual is creaming himself over the only decent thing he did all match, beat a couple of tired players in extra time and he still had to rely on Bale to claim an assist.
I doubt thats what he said. Remember that interview
was translated to english.
If he was so good how did they have to rely on a Ramos header from a corner in the 94th minute he was craaap !!!
