Ramsey

My god where do I start with him!

I can praise him all i want and it still wont be enough, the guys magical. I read somewhere (twitter me thinks) that he's not on unbelievable form, but he's an unbelievable player. Couldn't agree more with that, for 18 months now he's consistently been amazing. Love him

imo he's as good as Cesc was during his latter years at the club. His passing may not be as good but everything else ticks all the boxes. Have a feeling that this was the reason Wenger didn't sign Cesc, as in that position i'd much rather have Ramsey. He's become our best player in a very good team, and is still so young!

Future el capitan right there, hope chambo and wilshere kick on then we'll have one hell of a midfield

Role on the season lads, expecting a good one

"So who is the tool now."

Honestly, it's kind of still you. The guy made a passing observation, as a fan watching a game, and you've either googled (really sad) or recently read an article (fairly sad, it's the DM ffs) which some nerd has roped together with a stop watch. This is a sports board, not a maths one.

I mean seriously, what was the point of 'proving' this? Grow up.

^^Also, it doesn't account for the fact that Ramsey missed nearly half the season with injury, meaning the total distance covered was always likely to be lower than those playing pretty much every game.

He also covers the most ground of any player in most games he plays in, with Flamini the only other one who comes close.

This article would disagree with your statement.

to get a better comparison, you need it per game. I do like Giroud but there is no way he covers more ground than Ramsey per game, no way!!

Perfect Premier League midfielder imo.

Can run all day, pass the ball well, tackle and has added goals to his game.

A very professional lad by all accounts too. Doesn't seem to court attention like a lot of young players (23 still counts as young imo) in his position have a penchant for.

Big season for him, but I've a feeling he'll shine.

I agree with this and will add that he is technically gifted as well.
He did a beautiful turn yesterday that only the very best can manage. A real pleasure to watch and I see him exceeding Cesc's level.
Nice!

Giroud covers more ground than ramsey. Please check your stats.

In the real world, ramsey is our best player and is getting on Cesc level. Agreed wouldn't swap him for any midfielder in the league.

To top it off he is a great bloke as well.

And he has a lovely beard.

IaG was referring to Arsenal players tool
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok if he meant ONLY arsenal players then he is still wrong.

If you'd looked at the table on the page I linked to (1/4 way down the page, the one with the top 20 distances covered) it shows Arsenal's best placed player is Olivier Giroud in 15th position, NOT Ramsey & NOT Flamini.

So who is the tool now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

To be fair, as interesing as the article is, that's for ground covered over the course of the entire PL season and Ramsey nly played 23 out of 38 games, it's going to be skewed against him somewhat.
If you could find his average distance covered per game last season it'd probably be much more favourable.

'Alright calm down mate, he's a very good player but he's had half a good season and you're slobbering up his chocolate starfish like a stray dog on a lump of fillet steak.'

Gotta say, ACE FACE is the most disappointing poster on this site. Great early promise but hasn't lived up to it. Rambo's been 'good' since 2013, excellent since last season.
