Southampton, 2 good chances all game, score 2.
Stoke, 2 class saves in the last couple of minutes and a goal line clearance.
Arsenal, ... well it's Arsenal.
Everton, top save to pull ball out of the top corner.
West Ham, late goal ruled out for offside.
We are riding our luck, Van Gaal must be trading injuries to hex the other teams. We could be 8 points worse off, easily, which would put us under Liverpooop and outside the top ten.
How long will our luck last while we continue to play this poorly?
2-1 United

Luck? With our injuries?

With all the bad luck with injuries we've had this season, the one important and major factor we've grown into is showing resilience when playing poorly. Obviously it isn't our preferred method of performance, but during periods of bad performance patches - resilience is very important ...as well as luck.

I agree in a sense. How many times last season were we playing well only to crumble late on and let in an equaliser or a late winner?
Still doesn't feel like we're a top 3 team though.

If DDG suffers any injury, our chances will be severely tested.

I think that was a mixture of the players' faith in Moyes' method over LVG ' method in preparing for a game.
I think if this game was played last season then we could have easily lost and Moyes would just use his usual excuse of 'we where just unlucky in parts'.
As for top 3 quality team - I agree. But the difference is we're making our results of late count while our top 4 rivals have been more inconstant with performances and results.

Equally we should have won against Swansea. The burnley game we should have won if rvp places it and we get a pen or two. Sunderland away 2 stonewall pens denied in space of seconds. west brom away how we didn't win that game was a mystery. Chelsea home RVP and Di Maria should have scored more. Man city away two glorious chances passed up to get something. When we were dominating games and dropping points the media were having a field day.
I did say I thought after 10 games especially our performances levels were really high and that we would win a lot of games if we keep doing the right things.

I forgot to say Leicester away the most comfortable away win we were going to get, Leicester barely had any shots that game that were legitimate, hence I said they would struggle to score after the game.
