Is it time for a Director of Football?

I've never been keen on the idea myself, always of the mindset that the manager needs to choose his own players and create a team that suits his vision.

But now we could be into an era of ever changing managers, perhaps it makes some sense?

I'm sure the manager at most clubs with a DoF still get some say on transfer dealings, but the DoF keeps a certain "club ideal" during the transitional periods.

What are your thoughts?

You said we spent 10-15 on a loan deal.

"You said we spent 10-15 on a loan deal. I disproved your theory by showing you we spent 6m."

Just wow wow wow wow.

Scholay

you do realize there is a transfer budget right?

60m eats in to our transfer budget far far more than 10m,

yes, spending 10m does affect our spending on other player. spending 60 will affect our spending on other player far more than spending 10m.

You know fark all about our finances.

Did you know we have a bottomless Pitt and no debt?

Is it called a transfer BUDGET for a reason?

Whoever is saying 60 million, the record signing for every league other than Spain is nothing to us. That is a stupid way to look at money
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When someone says nothing to us what do you think it means? Does spending this amount hinder our spending in the future? Yes.

Does it disrupt our finances? If we continue with that mindset? yes.

We went out and blew 10-15m on a loan deal ffs. And that is one of the dumbest deals in the world

Look, use your head. Just because we are wasting it does not mean it does not matter. Believe it or not it fecking runs out. If do not make the CL, if we drop in the tables, if the owners get spooked, this will lead to poor financial situation. Don't be so obtuse
