Ask their fans whether they thought that though. This is your problem Tola. You reply on sound bites, conjecture, generalisations and the like. It makes you a bit of a joke.

Who gives a toss about what an inept owner and his accoutants valued Carroll at? How does this evaluation, by businessmen not football men, effect whether he can kick a ball accurately with his left foot?

That is true. You guys have had it harder than other teams. Probably to do with how sensitive some of you are (Not you personally. Im thinking more Fred Basset and Didi Hamann)

I reply with facts, which you do not like.

But why sensitive?

Because people are writing off Henderson when in reality they have not really seen him play? Because they call Adam Championship standard even though he was in Prem team of the year. Because they slated Downing due to Villas form even though he had a very good season indiviually.

It's not sensitivity per se. It's people, like Tola, talking rubbish in hte face of simple facts. I think they may end up with some egg on their faces tbh cos they look to be bedding in alright and hopefully can play some good football this season.

At the end of the day - Chelsea effectively paid for Carroll so Liverpool fans won't be complaining, especially when you consider that we also got Suarez for that money.

I guess I speak on behalf of all Liverpool fans when I say thank for giving us 50 million for a disinterested player and the ability to go out and spend 'your' generous cash on Suarez and Carroll who has managed a better ratio since the transfer window closed earlier in the year
