the 50m price tag is not his fault its liverpools
Question
If Torres is a mercenary what does that make Joe Cole?

Did Comolli hold Romans arm and give him a chinese burn until he paid £50m?
andy carrol for 35 m pounds any1?

And a wet willy so I'm told
Torres is still better value for money than Carroll at 35m. And Torres isn't good value for money.
City can't accomodate all those forwards.
Tbk - Exactly my point !! ... but i think if we sell him itll come back to haunt us hes good

Spot on.
I feel embarrassed for Liverpool when I watch Carroll play.
Yeah, 1 goal in 21 games is some return. Obviously Torres is much better than Carroll.
And how it's Liverpools 'fault' that Chelsea paid £50M is beyond me, that's beyond a joke...
Torres would be better value for money if he could score some goals but he doesn't and that is what you paid that stupid price for him to do.
Why do Chelsea want to buy all our rejects?
Why do people keep slating £35mill for Carroll... It's not £35 mill for Carroll it's Suarez and Carroll for Torres and Babel the owner explained that himself!
Why did yuo pay 35million for Carroll just to put him on the bench after realising he's not good enough?

What, I don't even....
35+22= 57
50+7= 57
The numbers represent the prices for the 4 players

You're the club who have to resort to buying our rejects to have any LEague winners in your side
City can't accomodate all those forwards
City no longer need to improve their squad,so their next move is to weaken everybody else.

Torres has looked sharp of late, even though he's not scoring, where's Carroll just looks sh-it.

Jeez, talk about going over old ground. We NEEDED a striker after offloading Torres, so we got rolled over by Newcastle who knew we had money from that sale.
Effectively Carroll cost us £15M, injured at the time and just getting back to fitness at the start of this season.
You keep banging on about Carroll, but he's scored more goals than Torres in significantly less matches. At what point does that sink in?

What game did you watch him in just out of interest?
Have you got a link for this ?

True. And Carroll has still out scored Torres.
