It's that time again. This time however let's have an explanation on why you think your #1 is the best and why #8 is the least great. My list goes like this:
1. Jackie Brown - some of the best and most subtle performances by his actors. The characters are written extremely well. He nailed the feel of this heist gone wrong film. Music on point as ever. It's probably his best film in that it doesn't come off as a super apparent QT film but after a couple of views you can tell it is. His best work for me still.
2. Reservoir Dogs
3. Pulp Fiction
4. The Hateful Eight
5. Kill Bill 1&2
6. Death Proof
7. Inglorious Basturds
8. Django - besides never being a Jamie Foxx fan this film felt too straight forward for me. Probably his laziest work. It was a purely vengeful film without much to say. Creating a quasi-super hero didn't work imo. The only film of QT I wish he didn't make.
So what say you?

I was really bored watching Django...............it made me feel that Tarrantino had reached his sell by date.
I love Jackie Brown too, but for me Reservoir Dogs is his most ground breaking (at the time) and his best movie.
Not seen hateful 8 yet, can't motivate myself to do so af

By the way, whatever happened to Briget Fonda, I thought she was a pretty good actress..

I used to fancy the hell out of Bridget Fonda back in the day. I guess she was never in anything that was a big hit which wouldn't have helped.
Jackie Brown's high on my 'To Watch' list.
