How can you hate Kill Bill, aside from using women who can't really make the fighting look amazing? He totally nailed those films.
1 - From Dusk Til Dawn - Cos I like it the most.
2 - Django
3 - Pulp Fiction
4 - Reservoir Dogs
5 - Inglorious Bastards
6 - The H8ful 8 - Found it overlong and boring.Wasn't really watching it, tbh. May have fallen asleep for a bit as well as it seemed to skip a lot of story.
Never seen the rest.
Christoph waltz is brilliant as the Jew hunter in inglorious bas .terds
From Dusk to Dawn is a Robert Rodriguez film

Tarantino wrote it and starred in it. Rodriguez directed it.
No?
Right. Robert Rodriguez film.
Directoring (complete) is what we are going off.

The article asked for favourite Tarantino films. To me that means any film Tarantino was involved in.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Also the Pai Mei episode in kill bill is quality
As is Samuel L Jackson as the slave boss in Django, looks like Uncle Ben
Sam Jackson may be the ugliest human being ever to live.
Aside from dusk til dawn, fail to really see the fuss about Tarantino's works. Good films but not utterly amazing like people make out.
Don't know how anyone could've found Hateful Eight boring. The dialog was amazing. If you have an attention span longer than a minute it will move the film among at an incredible speed.

No, they're amazing. We are blessed to have him making films while we are alive.
For me
1. Pulp Fiction - epitomises everything good about his work
2. Kill Bill - his most polished film
3. Jackie Brown - fantastic film, only lower as he did not write it, and has less of his style as a result
4. Inglourious Bstrds
5. Reserviour Dogs
6 Django
7 Hateful Eight - Still enjoyed it but the story lacked nuance for what is set up as a whodunnit. And SLJ was an unispired choice of actor
Hateful 8 wasn't that great

Wow i felt Sam Jackson was perfect for that role. I'm actually sure it was written for him in mind.

That's kind of my point. Did he really have to write him ANOTHER lead performance as essentially the same character.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Emotionally unenganging, indulgent, clunky dialogue, stupid plot, silly action.
Quentin at its worst.
Pulp Fiction - tarantino at his best
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that's like, your opinion, man
Pulp Fiction and R. Dogs are superb but Inglorious B is the daddy of them all. Im amazed that IB is not more highly placed by others? Django was overhyped and the Kill Bills are not to my taste.
