Simple really, I first went to Old Trafford when I was 10 and I went to a lot of games up until I was about 27. I simply got priced out of the games as I travelled from Blackpool. Tickets travel and food + a beer or 2 was starting to set me back about £100 a game. Since I moved to Edinburgh last year I go to Hibs games up here and have a season ticket with a few pals from work. It's a laugh, relatively cheap and we go out for a few beers. Although I'm a fan of United and always will be, I support Hibs by going to the games etc. Simple really.

It really is that simple.... I go and support Vale with certain family members and enjoy it... I go support UTD with friends and family and enjoy it.

I watch far, far more UTD games, as they are on tv... But I listen in on Vale games and follow their results.

I wonder how many of the people saying "I could only support one club" actually do go to the ground and support them?

I support the Mercoledis by having a season ticket and go to all the home games, and some of the away games. I couldn't and wouldn't want to support any other team
