With 12 players contracts ending in 2018 the one thing I said I wanted to see this transfer window was a lot of business done early. we need to know what players are likely to stay to know how many players we need to sell and sign. With all of the players that could go we have a potential £100m-200m income in sales fees at stake. That would be needed to be put towards the replacements.
So far I have not heard that any of them have extended their contracts.
We haven't sold any of our first team players and have only had a couple of player like Sanogo leave. Players like Szcz are dragging on with nothing done yet.
We have done one good piece of business in bringing in Lacazette and I have high hopes for him but not entirely convinced until I have seen him in the PL. Its still in my mind whether we would have been better off getting someone like PEA who is proven in a top league. Kolasinac is another who looks a good signing but that was agreed a while ago so isnt really business done in this window, woth only the signing on the dotted line required.
So all in all Arsenal have in my opinion not done the early business that I think was needed with question marks over 12 players with only a year left on their contracts. Its only 4 1/2 months unitl they can start talking to other clubs.
Bringing in 2 players is not enough at this point really and we could still have significant changes in the squad with pre-season well underway. I think Arsenal have left it to late and failed to take early action to address some major concerns in the management of the squad.
Lets hope they pull their finger out and we get a few contracts extended quickly and those that wont sold and replaced with better players in time for the new players to get some game time in and start to gel. You can cope with some late changes, but I dont want to see too many once the season is starting.

Arsenal have failed when the off-season is still weeks away from ending (and the transfer window is even further away from ending), when it's not confirmed who's going or staying and when the club has already bought highly rated players...?

I said I wanted to see business done early in this transfer window. Kolasinac was already a done deal before this transfer window so how the fack does that fit in to business being done this window.

No because we would have signed 5 new players.
Arsenal.com lists 9 midfield players. 5 of them have a contract ending next summer. That, and the other 7 players who's contracts expire then, is what i wanted to see sorting out. That is how I started the article. That is what I was raising concerns about. I said Kolasinac was a good signing, but that it was already done before this window opened. I said I wanted to see the situation with the squad, their contracts and whether they need replacing sorted out early.
The fact it has turned into a witch hunt about ONE player who I had addressed in the post shows what a bunch of dicheads you ;ot on here are.
JA606 is already a shadow of what ot used to be. The number of posters has dramatically dropped as people leave for better forums. Youre ruining it for yourselves.

Chelsea showing us how to do most of your business early. Already signed Morata (subject ony to fnal confirmation) , Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
And they did not need strengthening to the degree that we did and still do.
