I think McEwans lager was discontinued a while before I was able to drink it legally. But I think I had it in a shandy at new years. Can't remember what it tasted like.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It became known as p!sh water after they started sponsoring rangers people who drank it for years refused to drink it

Fact
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I read once when carling took on both that McEwans example was a particular reason for them needing the deal to be both. And whilst sponsoring both became biggest selling in Scotland. Before falling back behind tennents after it ended.

<McEwans was after cr Smith.>

Correct Miller.

David Murray broke away from the dual deal.

Towards the end of CRS dual deal, the trackside hoardings at Celtic Park

were in blue.

Up till that point they had been blue/Ibrox and green/CP.

That was at the height of the Fivers and Tenners insanity.

In their panic at the prospect of Rangers leaving the deal, CRS started

a telly ad campaign.

Look Out For The Man In The Blue And White Van.

And we got blue at Celtic Park.

Murray's away and disgraced but old CRS are still there.

If they were last glaziers on the planet I'd sooner freeze tho.

No that I'm bitter mind.
