John Rudkin jan 14

Believe there was an article in Mercury Jan 14 ,stating that John Rudkin, our Director of Football, was planning to mastermind all of out transfer dealings.
Well sorry but if that was true then surely in light of both last years and this years dreadful dealings, which have culminated in our 14 second humiliation, then he should take responsibility and do the decent thing.
Would any of us survive in our jobs with a recent record like his ?
Am sure he would want to take the credit for our recent success.
Now he should take all the grief for our recent failures in the transfer market.Would we be worse off without him?

Like anything in the Club, down to the owners who don't seem to make rash decisions.

Stay or go it's not really got anything to do with us.

How long has Rudkin been in the job?

At least with you sticking yur claws in to JR (was it you that shot him) Shakeys getting a rest Thorney

Before we start pointing fingers we need to know the full facts. My understanding is that we pass the forms on to
the FA and they forward them on to FIFAs system. So who was 14 seconds late LCFC or the FA. We will never
know but knowing how they work the FA were suspiciously quick in backing our appeal.

That not to say we (LCFC) were faultless in all of this.

a.) We should have made sure that the paperwork was done well in time ( at least 30 mins before the daedline)

b.) We should have made sure that theSilva deal was a done deal before completing the Drinkwater deal ( at least then Drinky might have got some games in this season

Can somebody update me on where we are up to with Nev's: "Now will you say 'well done' to Rudkin" threads?

LG,sounds same as Shakespeare's tactics then!
No real stratagy and understanding of what's required.
Off course no one will take responsibility for this mess up.
Seems we have a D of F,and a manager who have some explaining to do.
Pi55 up and brewery come to mind.
Peter Taylor is no doubt to blame really.

"Peter Taylor is no doubt to blame really."

I hear he's in line for a return if Shakey gets the push.

The following fact should be borne in mind: how many companies across the nation have to squeeze their recruitment process into a few weeks, or however long the “window” is in existence, over the course of 12 months? It is ridiculous and it’s hardly surprising things go wrong though these particular circumstances are bizarre.

Thorney

Good points.
organise and brewery seems a good anology
but Peter Taylor Noooooo, even you would surely sooner keep Shakey than that.
