It's squeaky bum time in the PL for top 4 now.
From 8 points clear of 5th to only 4 in the space of a couple of weeks and the likes of Liverpool and Spurs looking stronger as the season goes on, things aren't looking so clear for us.
Do people think we will still make top 4? Om not sure but the Chelsea game will be key. If we take 0 points we are in huge trouble.
Top 4....Anybody concerned?

Well, the answer is that Spurs we’re at a new stadium and didn’t start well there. Thought that might be a handicap as many Spurs did too
But let’s just frame that as arrogance!

They've limped their way to 2nd

This actually is not true, is it? We had a very, very good start and got there by playing some good football.
And up until the last round of results, we were comfortably sat there as well.

You played a couple of good games obviously. Also had a couple of very misleading big wins which were struggles right up to the 80th minute.
Your points total was very very flattering and things look to be finally balancing out a bit.

No they were not struggles at all.

You can't have a 'flattering points tally' ffs
Every team literally gets 3 points if they win, and 1 if they draw.

Of course you can, there have been times United played far better yet got worse results than this particular season

Not having that.
After 27 games you don't stay in a 'false' position.
Maybe our form will take a downturn and we'll finish lower, maybe the sides below us will improve and move up, but so far we've got the 2nd most points and we're two thirds the way through now.

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt here, because I think I understand what you are trying to say, but are just making a total mess of it.
First of all we will dismiss your first part because it is just plain wrong. None of those games where we scored loads of goals late on in the games were struggles. We got to second palce for very good reason.
Now, since around Christmas time some of our wins have not reflected on how bad we played. Some of them were struggles. Our form at the moment looks to be going downwards. That can change though.
Liverpool and Spurs for example have both had poor patches of form and results, but both are now on an upward trend. That can also change.

Shouldn't be worried, but it is getting that way.
Always recognised that 2nd place was, and is, flattering this current united squad. But anything under 3rd place is underachieving.
if jose doesn't play his best XI more often i fear for the club. Too many weak players getting too much game time will ALWAYS get found out.
get some proper testicles out there, get some sense of leadership, responsibility and direction
