So after five games King Kenny has 2 more points than Uncle Woy had at this stage last season.
Given that this two point improvement has been earned with a huge budget and the complete backing of the supporters, in stark contrast to the hostility shown to Woy, do Liverpool fans intend to show the same kind of loyalty that kept them backing Rafa when he had run the club into the ground, frittered the club's money on far too many worthless players, took the club into a relegation battle and saw the club repossessed?
Or are there any who would have not been entirely swept up in the emotion of securing a legendary ex-player as manager, who nevertheless has not had success in either of his last two managerial posts?
And how long will the fans accept his assurances that it is all the referee's fault?
Hodgson > Kenny?

The start to the campaign has consisted of a more positive approach under Kenny, with 3 poor half of football. the abysmal 90 mins against Spurs and a poor second half display against Sunderland.
With Roy the only positive was that in certain games we weren't completely ****, but in truth, performance wise, these were rarity.
the owner have invested approximately £37m (net) of their own money since they bought the club and have reduced the wage bill considerably. Hopefully, considering they bought the club at a knockdown price they will invest a lot more than this amount in future windows.

Roy Hodgson was in the bottom three with Liverpool. He was sacked at Inter Milan. He is currently bottom of the league with WBA.
Perhaps the OP would like to tell us if he would like RH to manage his team?

Aggers Right Elbow (U3402) :
"He was sacked at Inter Milan"
Like King Kenny was sacked at Newcastle? Getting the job at Inter in the first place is a better indication of Woy's ability. He did after all get a small European country into major International tournament.
"He is currently bottom of the league with WBA"
And Liverpool are now a massive four points above them (equal with the likes of QPR and Wolves), having spent sums that Hodgon could only dream of - having spent £50m on a strike force which has achieved a minus one goal difference.
"Perhaps the OP would like to tell us if he would like RH to manage his team?"
Why would I want Uncle Woy to manage my team? We have a very acceptable manager already thanks. Your team however, had been run into the ground by Rafa, whom you were blindly loyal to, hoping to impress everyone with such a steadfast adherence to your manager, and yet you were bitterly hostile to Hodgson before his team had even kicked a ball.

OF COURSE the performances improved when KK arrived in Jan, a new manager often has that affect on a squad. But it's now, new season, where the players need to perform.
All very well saying "KK's record was top 4" but you're not in the top 4 now, are you likely to be?
I said all along that KK taking you back to the glory days of many decades ago was a pipe dream, and I take great pleasure in seeing that I was right, and look forward to the moment where he walks out on you, just as he did before, then at Blackburn, Newcastle, Celtic....

AzL - Inter get through manager's like Rooney gets through hair follicles. Not sure this particular argument holds up.
