Back down to 10p in Tesco's.
My faith in humanity has been restored.
Got me thinking back to my early teens and the Friday night ritual and how flooking cheap it was for a night out .
This of course would start on the Monday when i used to put away £2 of my daily £5 school money from Monday to Friday, this in turn gave me a total of £10 to be added to my Friday night allowance from the parents of a further £10.
£20 all in to play with and back in the early 00s that stood you in good stead for the following:
1 bottle of Orange MD 20/20 or substituted by halving in for a 3L of Frosty Jacks with a mate, both available at that time for around £2.50-£4 and both got you out yer tree when you were 15 year old.
This left just over a fiver to get the necessary goodies to sober up before heading up to the house to act sober in front of the maw and da.
Said goody kit contained
Chicken fried rice and gravy in the one container - £3
One glass bottle of Irn bru - 69p
3 packs of Pickled onion space raiders - 10p each
1 Freddo - 10p
1 Taz bar - 10p
Still over a quid to spare.
Now I'm about a grand if i end up out Friday to Sunday
We were lucky enough to enjoy the real 10p days for stuff though, those big £1 multi-bag packets of space raiders are an absolute scam, about 3 crisps per packet ffs!

Have you seen the clip of the boy - think he is on holiday on a balcony - he skelps two full bottles in a wunner right after each other. Wonder how he felt later.....

Downed two bottles of wine at a mates 21st, stopped for a breath between bottles....
40mins later today was thrown out for vomiting in the urinal. Was adamant I couldn't breathe and the reflex had stopped, and gasping for air. The gf now wife said I just looked ridiculous gulping like a fish.

(CNN) — A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of impregnating woman in a vegetative state who gave birth last month at a Phoenix health care facility, Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams said Wednesday.
Nathan Sutherland, a licensed practical nurse who was caring for the woman at the Hacienda HealthCare facility, has been arrested and is being booked on preliminary charges of sexual assault and vulnerable-adult abuse, Williams said.
