I lived in North Connel near Oban at the time.

Cellar bar in Oban and when we turned about 17 managed to get into the Gluepot, the old bar in the Falls of Lora and our local the Lochnell Arms

Halcyon days

Nico's up in Saucihall street used to do pints of Tennants at £1 Monday to Friday up until about 2010.

Was magic on a Friday afternoon lunch hour or should i say 2 hours it ended up

1 bottle of Orange MD 20/20 or substituted by halving in for a 3L of Frosty Jacks with a mate, both available at that time for around £2.50-£4 and both got you out yer tree when you were 15 year old.

Don't imagine out of date carlsberg can taste any worse than in date carlsberg to be fair mate.

The first time i got caught drinking off my old man was when i thought it was a good idea to make my Frosty Jack taste better with a bit of blackcurrant cordial.

Carried them all out the shop stacked on top of each other and tripped going out the door. Stayed on my feet like a legend.

Btw, 1 bottle of mad dog is plenty as well.

I've only ever attempted 2 in the one night once and it did not end well at all.

Isn't that how Wetherspoons are essentially run?

Buy up all their stock from product that isn't far off sell by date?

I fell asleep in some kants bath at a party once, that's about as wild a place as I've slept

Mind my mate brought a bottle of Absinthe back from Poland for an old firm game. Before heading in Taxis to Hampden we all had a bottle of MD plus beers galore followed by shots of absinthe. Was the final Jelavic scored the winner

Mind going to the game, head hanging out the back window giving the vicky to rangers fans at church on the hill like Mr Bean Dropped us off at Toryglen and we rolled to the game Barely remember a thing but sobered right up during that extra time period.
