They are the absolute best.
Just back from taking 28 on a 4 day trek in Perthshire.
The worst 4 consecutive day Scottish weather pattern since winter 2018.
45+ mph winds, Biblical rainfall, making camp in darkness.
Not one word of complaint.
Laughs, jokes, and 'well ah canny get any wetter' mindstate.
Still.
Folk of my age and younger decry them.

<Round ones is probably appropriate for today's fat children>
As I said in the OP.
Older folk often decry the younger.
Even tho they have been the very agents of this 'deficit'.
Not one 'fat' kid in the group.
If there was it would have been the fault of older people from your
young age to mine who force fed them processed food and Diabetes
inducing sugar intensive shyyte since birth, & who were too indolent
themselves to take them to the swimming pool, or show them
Scotland's glorious outdoors.

I used to go up most weekends from age 9 or something. So it's like a second home. Great to take a dog

Keep up the good work tmq, great to read your post. Kids really appreciate being taken for days out no matter what the weather etc. Great to hear their banter and see how happy and excited they get. 👍
