Liverpool fans and players

When we talk about the Evra / Suarez incident, you have a choice about how you conduct yourselves.

Like this:

Jamie Carragher showing some maturity and class, accepting the club made some mistakes in the handling of the incident and holding his hands up to it.

Pathetic.

Fair play to those of you who can discuss this without letting bias overtake any moral decency.

Greatteamswinit4times- a terrible enemy (U6008)

I couldn't give a fack about any reputation.

But you're wrong. If TOOR came on and admitted he was wrong, I'd give him a thumbs up and we'd move on - as I always do.

It bothers me when people can't admit they're wrong and I will hammer home the point for as long as I need to, in order to prove that they are wrong beyond doubt.

You think it's weird? No problem. I think a lot of your behaviour is weird. Such is life.

Just thought it'd be nice to outline TOOR's inaccuracies and lies, so they can be easily accessed in future.

Cool. So shall we move on like I thought we had 7 hours ago, or should we expect this thread to reappear again in a couple of hours after you try and bait someone into another response?

You can do what you like and I’ll do what I like.

This may come as a shock to you, but you don’t actually have to comment just because I have.

Hope this helps.

Just thought it'd be nice to outline TOOR's inaccuracies and lies, so they can be easily accessed in future.

Firstly, this comment:

“He said 10 times, then 7 then another number. It changed several times.”

The truth?

- The initial discussion in the Man Utd changing room said 5 times.
- The initial report to the referee said 5 times.
- The official, written complaint said 5 times.
- The evidence given to the panel said 5 times.

The only occasion where the number '10' was mentioned was explained by Evra as a figure of speech. It was first used in a discussion between Evra and a reporter, off air.

So, we can clarify:

- There is no evidence that Evra lied.
- Accepting Evra's explanation about the Canal + interview, his story remained consistent. Only Comolli, part of Suarez's defence team, has cast doubt on this and his only challenge is whether that figure of speech is appropriate, not that it exists.
- He certainly never changed the number several times.

Conclusion: TOOR is proven wrong.

Bump.

In light of a general election, it occurred to me how many people will believe whatever they want, regardless of the facts.

Reminded me of this.
