Enough is enough. The guy is a clown who will take us to midtable. I've had enough of terrible results like this. It's not acceptable, it's never been acceptable, it wasn't acceptable for Sarri, it wasn't acceptable for Di Matteo, it wasn't acceptable for Ancelotti, it wasn't acceptable for Scolari, it wasn't acceptable for Avram Grant, and all of these managers had far better results than Lampard. He's not a good manager, one day maybe he will be, who knows, but in the present this is Championship level manager in charge of a team that should be competiting for titles. He's turning us into a joke. Our defence is becoming an embarrassment and that's not even an exagrerration.
Lampard out, Pockets (Pochettino) in. Do it now while we can still achieve something this season.

OK maybe not day one lol, but that entire first year I wasn't buying into him at all, the fact the world's most expansive keeper didn't seem to have a world class save in him concerned me. Approx half way through the season I started to realize when faced with a shot of real quality, 99% chance it's beating him, and shot stopping's his biggest strength.

For someone who talks his fair share of b0llocks I actually feel vindicated via Kepa. I wasn't laying into him or anything, but the point about the great strikes always beating him I completely called, was ahead of the curve. Literarily was his main problem last year

Sarri is AVB 2.0., the 3-2 win over Arsenal could have easily been worse than AVB's 5-3 loss if their players could finish. The first alarm bell rang in my head after Martial's second goal in the 2-2 at SB. Didn't expect him to save it but the fact he got flat footed by a telegraphed shot wasn't something you'd expect from a top shot stopper. Ever since been next to nothing to ease that initial grain of doubt which has slowly snowballed into a realization he's simply bang average (even when he's not making ridiculous errors).

This comment perfectly sums up the whole Kepa debate to me.
You've admitted you didn't expect him to save it, yet you've dissected it and searched for anything you can to apportion blame to him for it.
It's a recurring theme with every ball he has to pick out the net now!

You're framing the argument differently. It's not about attaching blame to Kepa (for me), it's about finding reasons to suggest he's better than average & there's been next to none in two years. Throw in individual errors like Liverpool & yesterday which he was at fault for & now I have that cynical prospective you're referring too.
The lion's share of the blame for that 2nd Southampton goal yesterday I put on Lampard, not Kepa or Zouma. He shouldn't have played, his confidence is shot as is the confidence of the defenders whenever he's in net.

The team is just starting to come together. I agree the defence needs sorting but hard to judge him so early. IMO he does tinker too much but injuries can't help.

Had AVB got us a top 4 place then maybe you'd have a point Wahl. Lampard got us top 4 in a well documented and difficult scenario. AVB deciding to play a high line with JT at the back was the worst tactical decision I can remember at Chelsea. Whilst the jury is out on Lampard please remember that no one else would take the job after the transfer ban and sale of Hazard. This is a fundamental reason as to why he got the job along with the fact Jodie and later Joe Edwards knew the youngsters we were going to blood last season. When the time is right he will go but you don't seem to acknowledge why he was recruited in the first place. No way would Allegri come in last season.
