If...

If Rangers were to pause playing now and Celtic kept playing and won their next SEVEN league games in a row 3-0 Rangers would still be top of the league.

Confirmed off. Twice dons have had to travel for late call offs.

Even though both managers agreed, you’d imagine that Aberdeen won’t be happy with that.

Another game falls by the wayside eh?

Shambles our game.

Maybe if they invested in their stadium and pitches a bit more people would want to go as a day out. When the time comes obviously.

Makes you think wistfully back to a Non-Lockdown Winter Shutdoon.

Would be good if a criteria for our league was to have proper pitches. If you can't afford the maintain or fit a proper grass pitch, then you can't play in the league.

Stadiums have to comply with safety and standards etc, surely for the top league, it wouldn't be difficult to add pitches need to be grass, to that criteria.

Got to love these all weather surfaces, too cold the games off then too wet the games off.

get them ripped up and get an actual pitch laid
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Even the better ones are only specced to -3 degrees.

The ones with decent underlay are like big sponges too. If the drainage isn’t great and it rains then water just sits on them.

If the temperature then drops overnight the water sitting in the freezes and you get left with an ice rink. 😩

The SPFL rule book does not discriminate between grass and plastic...

H10 Each Club shall provide, maintain and use in such manner as to ensure its efficient
and effective operation an adequate winter pitch protection system. Such systems
shall be fully utilised by the Home Club before any League Match or Play-Off Match
where there is a reasonable possibility of its pitch otherwise being frozen or covered
in snow or ice so as to ensure that the League Match is able to take place at the
venue and on the date and time scheduled notwithstanding such possibility.
Pitch Condition
H11 Each Club shall ensure that the field of play at its Registered Ground and at any other
ground at which it is the Home Club for a League Match or Play-Off Match is:-
H11.1 smooth and in good condition and repair; and
H11.2 equipped with an efficient and effective drainage system so that it cannot
become unplayable due to flooding.
