Here's my take on the "incident" that Sky might have mentioned once or twice:
- notice the ball is spinning and is "underneath" Morelos
- he tried to put his foot on it to control it.
- literally ask any footballer how they control a spinning ball beneath their feet and then watch it again.
- if he doesn't try to put his foot on top of the ball it runs away from him because of the spin. As it was he missed the ball and there was a man underneath him.
Now show a slow motion replays and it looks bad. Throw in some previous and it's somehow worse.
Couple of points I'd like to make:
Darren McGregor wrestled and threw Kamara to the ground then stood on.him. He wasn't trying to play the ball.
Sky interview Darren Mcgregor and ask him about Morelos but not his own "stamp".
They cut back to the presenter and have a laugh about it but yet Morelos incident is headline news?
They also ask Jack Ross about Morelos and not his own players incident.
So in summary, 1 player makes an attempt to play a ball in play and another player plays a man when a ball is out for a throw in. Which is worse? 🤔🙄
