Dean Henderson is United No.1

My only gripe with him is he doesn't look that comfortable with the ball at his feet. I know some people don't care but given the way we try to play it's important. In the modern game its what sepatates the good from the great.

Should he keep his place though? Absofūckinglutely

He certainly looks the part. He’s got a certain amount of confidence and assured-ness to him - a hint of arrogance even. I’d like to see him given the rest of the season as #1 to see how he does over an extended period of time.

Is wish Dean to be no1 moving forward but feel DDG will get his place back when he returns, he's had a few nightmares last couple of season and cost us points so I'd take a decent offer for him, said in the match thread that it's a pity we seem to have lost Romero as he'd have been great back up for Henderson

Bloodred, Fair point but DDG isn't that great with his feet either, it is an important part of modern goal keeping to be fair

If we go on a good run now it would be very poor to drop him once Dave is back.

We already know he’s good enough to be a PL goalkeeper week in week out, he showed that for Sheff United he was one of the best in the league last season.

The only way we’ll know for sure if he’s good enough for us in this league is by giving him the chance. Nothing he’s done for us so far suggests he won’t be able to handle the pressure.

Better to give him the chance now until the end of the season while DDG is still here, than after we commit to selling him.

Yeah agreed about DDG. Hendo should displace him for now definitely, but long term that's my only real concern with him.

We wouldn't have scored the second with DDG in goal. Hendo should keep his place when DDG comes back for me.

It's a bit late in the season, but he better finally get a run otherwise no point in bringing him back.
