You know what - i welcome Big Angie.

He will be something different. He looks like he will have some fun press conferences and his teams seem to play an all out 'we will score more than you' attacking style.

At least it wont be dull football with a wee angry ginger guy chewing tabacco and coming out slating everybody but himself in interviews.

I am glad he is getting his first chance over here at Celtic rather than Rangers but it will add some interest to the league next year.

But you’re right in what you’re saying. At least it’s a bit of excitement at a time when none of us have had anything meaningful to celebrate for over a year.

First chance to comment since AP the Bhoy was confirmed. Was pretty horrified/underwhelmed when his name first came into the frame. Still see it as a MASSIVE gamble, and continue to have very little faith in our wonderful board, but am at least a bit more comfortable with the appointment having found out a bit more about the guy. For starters, he seems to have a clear footballing philosophy and doesn't take any nonsense from anybody .... so those are 2 massive positives, and likely to be a real shock to the existing squad given the total vacuum they've been working under with Lenny.

Time will tell obviously, but he has a massive recruitment job ahead of him, as we all know. Welcome to Paradise anyway, big man.

Guy I know had said to Broony that it was a bit of a shame the way it ended up for him at CP, with no fan farewell etc … to which his response was that he couldn’t get out of there quick enough. Have no reason to doubt the veracity of the story. Make of that what you will.
