Telles' got some attacking chops but hasn't lit the world on fire whenever he played. I'd still keep him though since it's looking like we got another 50-60 games again this season.

Yeh, I haven't been overly impressed. However, it can often take a year for players coming into the PL to settle in. I think I'd keep him for now.

He's not really had any sustained run in the team, which will always make it harder. We've seen with Donny that you can't just drop a player into the side once, expect them to show their best form and then repeat that process 7 games later.

I think Telles has been fine overall; steady if not spectacular, and a definite improvement on Williams.

Yes I’d agree Telles has looked ok. Don’t think he is good enough to be 1st choice but how many clubs have 2 top left backs. Can’t think of many.

Can’t think of one really top left back at City. At Real Marcelo is past is best and not sure Ferland Mendy is amazing either.

Bayern maybe? Well they did have Alphonso and Alaba at one point.

I think I was reaching with Real Madrid since I relied on Marcelo's reputation.

Cancelo/Zinchenko/Mendy are all decent players. Well not Mendy anymore after his injury problems.

True Bayern have Davies and Lucas Hernandez.

Cancelo is a right back and not sure the other 2 are top drawer. Mendy had a chance but injuries and possibly mentality haven’t helped.

Unless he really pushes for a move, I’d be surprised if this happens. He’s not impressed that much, but it’s his first season at the club, he can still offer more to the team.

When did Telles start being Brazilian? Thought the c*nt was portuguese.

Another Brazilian player at United who can’t play football.

What is “top” about Telles game? From what ive seen, he is poor 1 vs 1, he doesn’t read oases between him and the cb and his set pieces defending is awful.

He has a good cross on him, I literally can’t thing of anything else.

An inability to be a proper defender has never seemed to be an issue for most of the lummoxy fantwats on this forum.

Apparently, at one stage, having twin Brazilian full-backs, fit for nowt but rolling about in the opposition half whilst their fellow defenders are being punished by an overwhelming number of opposition attackers, was "the future" for the club.

Shaw has been a genuine defensive godsend from the moment he arrived.
