Fuel ⛽

So guys, the time has come for me to refill my tank. I usually fill up 3 times a week, but haven't been since last Tuesday as I've been working from home this week.

I'm travelling from Keighley to Sheffield today, then back to Keighley and then to Blackburn, and back to Keighley. This doesn't include local trips to the office and the other regular trips I make which probably comes to about 30 miles daily. I just checked the range on my car and it's showing 114 miles which won't be enough. Drove around to see if I can fill up somewhere locally, but most filling stations are fully shut or only have diesel available. I need unleaded.

It's very unusual situation, and makes me thankful that we are dealing with a situation like this for the first time. It makes me appreciate the fact that even though we complain, life is easy in UK. Countries like Lebanon have been experiencing fuel shortages for a long time now, and there's countless other countries who are in a worse situation than us.

So let's be grateful we have food to eat and comfortable enough lives. Also, let me know what I should do about tomorrow.

Enjoy your week.

I've just read a story about 2 new tube stations opening in London.

Apparently the locals are jubiliant because it's doubled the value of their homes.

Well it may be the only way 90% of those under 35 can get on the property market, when they are 70, yes.

You might find most of the “entitled” were born from about 1990.

Ignoring all the evidence about the boomers being the most catered to generation, who raise these post 99 kids that you think are entitled?

Boomers.
