Man United or Succession tonight?

Having an internal debate with myself over whether to watch United tonight or the TV show Succession?

Normally I'll never skip a game but tonight it's pretty tempting, I realise however there are pros and cons to either decision.

Cons of watching United tonight:

1. The same awful to watch play as has been us all season
2. We're very likely going to get embarrassed in some way, whether it's defensively, missing a penalty ie Bruno v Arsenal etc. This is where I have a glance at social media afterwards and see some kind of new meme laughing at United for the upteenth time this season. The joke that keeps on giving.
3. We have nothing to play for. Win lose or draw tonight, is it going to have any meaningful impact on our season?
4. I'm just going to be left feeling what was the point watching that at the end of the game, again. I asked my wife which to watch earlier and she said I'll be less p!!!ssed off if I watch Succession tonight.

Pros of watching United:

1. Due to our injuries we might get to see some new younger players playing with something to prove to Erik when he joins this summer, rather than the dross that is Maguire etc.
2. It might be a high scoring game and actually a good watch for a change? (I'm doubtful of this though as it's Chelsea.. United v Chelsea games are nearly always low scoring pretty dull games).
3. Don't have to watch Maguire try to defend

But then on the other hand Succession is fantastic, does TV get any better than Season 2? If I watch Succession tonight I know I can chill and have a chuckle with a couple of beers or a Malbec and know I definitely won't be ranting to my wife about what a waste of space player X y & z are at around 10pm tonight

It's a tough one!

Aren’t the kids playing against Chelsea as we have loads and loads of injuries? I’m still hopeful of 8th place

Loads of injuries or players being scared of getting a bit of stick from the fans that they very much deserve for being a bunch of pansies?

I don't buy that they are all legitimately injured.

When Ralf was asked about the injuries at the club and he said that the he has a great medical team I wondered whether that was a slight dig at the players who aren't maybe doing what is needed their end.

Of course that could also be total rubbish.

Pogba wasn't injured. It was so obvious he'd pick up a 'knock' after getting stick from the fans. Had that been a French game I don't think he'd have even gone off.

But Pogba got scanned. Was revealed to be a legit injury. But hey, the narrative is the narrative to hate on Pogba. Yet, our crap Captain suddenly has a sore knee, that’s not an issue, but he’s out. All quiet.
Cavani, bailed out on us ages ago, but it’s very quiet on that front too. Pogba is gonna go, the haters gonna get what they want, or did they want him to stay, cos now they have to find a new scapegoat,
Pogba had the world at his feet, and chose to come back to Utd. Sure, it hasn’t worked out they way we wanted, but the vilification of him, has been disgusting.

Ralf's interview certainly didn't seem very convinced about it.

They probably are. This is what happens when you go into training and matches half cooked. You pick up injuries. If they were actually in proper shape, they probably wouldn't pick up as many injuries

It's always been better to watch the one with the fiery Scotsman at the helm.

Look, I’m sure players have checked out. I would be surprised if Pogba did, especially against Liverpool of all teams. And yes, the time has come for him to go.
Maguire suddenly being injured, I ain’t buying that.
The man was on the Bench for the Arsenal game, why I don’t know. Yet Hannibal was dropped.
Now he has a knee issue, which Ralf said wasnt a big deal. But fine, I’ll take it, never want to see him in the shirt again.
I’ve been watching the Basketball to ease the pain, of this season, and distract me, and I’ve seen the same scenario play out with Ben Simmons. Stealing money.
Actually it’s more like Cavani to be fair. We have been absolutely fleeced by him this season, and Utd just let it happen. We should’ve torn up his contract.
It’s obvious he saw CR7 come, and he hated it and down tools on us.
I don’t want to hear Cavani’s name being sung, or applauded, Ever!!

Yeah I don't think Pogba can just fake an injury, or any player for that matter.

More likely that the players aren't giving 100% and are far more susceptible to injury and less bothered about getting back fit because they don't enjoy playing because the club is such a mess.
