Enough about ‘that’ Queen, the coverage has been predictably overblown (thanks for my day off on the 22nd though 🥳).

This article is about the best Queen. The band… Queen.

Best songs ?

For me Killer Queen is the very best and one of the best songs of the 1970’s. Princes of the Universe has one of the best May riffs and Innuendo is a masterpiece.

Don't mind some of their songs. Love Of My Life is probably my favourite Queen tune along with the obvious BR

Freddie though has to be the greatest frontman there has ever been.

I know the band have millions of fans worldwidebut I have never got Queen.Even when my wife schlepped us around Montreux to see the statue it was still a mainly 'mehh' moment for me.

One song I remember being played a lot on radio was 'A Kind of Magic', although the first Queen album I bought was Innuendo and then worked my way back.

A lot of the classics already mentioned, so three others that are memorable for me:

Flash
I'm going slightly mad
These are the days of our lives
